TSHAI is a Model United Nations coaching company founded by Universitas Indonesia MUN Club alumni. We prepare high school delegations and private mentees in research, public speaking, negotiation and drafting, then take them to compete abroad.
PT Tri Solusi Handayani Anak Indonesia (TSHAI) was founded in 2023 by three alumni of the Universitas Indonesia Model United Nations Club. In Indonesia, structured MUN delegate training has mostly lived inside exclusive university communities. We bring that same training to high school students, and prepare them to compete at home and abroad.
MUN is an English-language simulation of a United Nations conference. Each student represents a country and argues its position on real issues, from security and the economy to health and social welfare, while trying to win the room over to their solutions.
The United Nations itself encourages MUN through resolution 77/336, for the way it builds tolerance, youth participation and capacity among students worldwide.
Every committee starts with secondary research on a real social or economic problem. Students learn efficient methods to find root causes and the specific solutions the UN can pursue.
Delegates must voice their country’s position on the floor. We train structured, fluent and confident speeches, from prepared statements to impromptu debate.
Countries disagree. Students learn coalition building, compromise and bloc strategy so their country’s view makes it into the final resolution.
The outcome of every committee is a draft resolution. Students learn to write detailed, well-structured formal documents in English.
Every program is led by our own coaches and open to students of all levels, from first-time delegates to experienced award winners.
An all-inclusive, intensive program of four to six months that prepares a school delegation for a prestigious conference abroad, such as Harvard, Yale, Cambridge or NTU MUN.
Training runs end to end: weekly sessions, a pre-departure camp, practice at local MUNs, and support from registration and visas through to the trip home.
We help schools set up and grow a strong MUN club. Our coaches run weekly, mid-size group sessions on research, public speaking and negotiation, and prepare students for selected local conferences.
One-on-one or small-group coaching built around a student’s own goals, for those who want intensive preparation or don’t have an MUN club at school.
Our private mentees have come from BINUS School Serpong, Canisius College, Mentari Intercultural School, Madrasah Istiqlal Jakarta and Tzu Chi School.
Our students have won at Yale MUN, Cambridge MUN, Harvard Model Congress Asia, Singapore MUN, NTU MUN, TEIMUN, AYIMUN, Jakarta MUN, Bandung MUN, JOINMUN, Indonesia MUN and many more.
